Dr Michael Oon is the only consultant in the UK practising Traditional Chinese lineage Feng Shui—an authentic discipline passed down directly from Master to student through generations. Dr Oon’s professional background as a Forensic Scientist with London’s Metropolitan Police, based at New Scotland Yard, instilled in him a strong commitment to integrity and evidence-based practice. His scientific curiosity led him to seek out the true principles of Feng Shui, beyond the diluted or commercialised versions commonly found in books or social media. After a rigorous search, he was accepted as an indoor student by a recognised lineage Master, Shyan Tseng (Blue Dragon Feng Shui), and underwent intensive, hands-on training focused on understanding and working directly with environmental energy.

Unlike modern approaches that rely heavily on formulas and decorative suggestions, Dr Oon’s practice involves in-depth analysis of both the external environment and internal layout of buildings, using traditional tools of Chinese metaphysics. He does not teach, mentor, or practise other branches such as BaZi or QiMen DunJia—instead, he focuses exclusively on Feng Shui consultation and online presence, ensuring depth and authenticity in his work.

As a member of Alliance Feng Shui—an international collective of traditionally trained Feng Shui specialists—Dr Oon collaborates on a wide variety of projects, from individual homes and office blocks to hotels, shopping centres, film studios, and even the design of entire cities. His work has taken him from the jungles of Indo-China and rural Malaysia to five-star hotels in North America, with each project tailored to the specific energies of the site and client objectives.
