Leonard Loyd while stationed in New Port he met his beautiful wife, Patricia. They have now been married for over 57 years. Leaving the Navy he and his wife settled in her hometown of Marshfield Massachusetts. In 1974 he joined the local police force. Through hard work, while receiving a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston, he became a Sergeant of Detectives.
After retiring he became a licensed Private Detective, travelling up and down the Eastern seaboard on investigations. During this time period he became a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with the National Guild of Hypnosis and a Nondenominational Minister with the Congregational Church of Practical Theology. After years of writing reports, he has decided to write novels. His first, a memoir Bent Not Broken by J. C. King, was published in 2018. Now he will try his hand at writing fictional crime novels.
